The Scottish Friendly Children's Book Tour at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People

We've partnered with Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity to bring the magic of storytelling to children and young people in hospital over the festive period.

On Friday 17 December, the Scottish Friendly Children's Book Tour was due to visit the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People to bring storytelling workshops and festive tales to children and young people in the hospital.

Unfortunately, due to Coronavirus, we are postponing this in-person visit. We are working to reschedule the visit and will update this page once we have a new date.

In the meantime, we have created this special video with our storytellers, Lari Don and Eilidh Muldoon, that children and young people will be able to watch in the hospital on Christmas Eve.

At Scottish Book Trust, we want to share a love of stories with all children and young people, no matter their circumstances. Lari and Eilidh are masters of aural and visual storytelling. They will bring traditional tales and festive folk stories to life for the young people we visit.
