Allison is passionate storyteller and author specialising in Scottish folk tales, environmental and outdoor stories. Bringing together traditional storytelling and nature, Allison seeks to engage and empower children to care for the natural world.
For this interactive live lesson, taking place through Microsoft Teams on the morning of Monday 6 June, Allison will take pupils on a storytelling journey where everyone becomes a storyteller. Uncovering Scotland’s history through folk tales, she will also explore how water is not only a resource, but a source of creativity and wellbeing. Pupils will create atmospheric settings and sounds to accompany Allison’s enthralling, dramatic, mystical stories.
Led by Allison, it will then be your pupils’ turn to become the tellers, creating their own mystical creatures sent to protect our planets waters.
