In this 45-minute interactive schools event, Aisling introduces students to the cinematic world of Ember and lead character Twelve. Twelve has spoken the Pledge and now she is a Huntling. She has given up her name to train in the art of fighting monsters, and she won't choose a new one until she has earned it. But when her friend is taken, Twelve sets off on a dangerous journey to rescue her. Teaming up with Dog, the stone Guardian of the Hunting Lodge, Twelve ends up on an epic adventure that will change her life, her name – and her entire world.
Aisling will share insider tips on how students can craft fantasy adventures with their own unique cast of magical creatures. An exciting chance to meet a rising star in children's storytelling on her first UK tour. There will be time at the end of the event for book signing and questions.
Every school that applies will receive a link to watch Aisling Fowler read the first chapter of Firesong.
