We're so excited to share the shortlist for The Bookbug Picture Book Prize, celebrating the best new Scottish children's books! We're asking children across Scotland to vote for their favourite to choose the winner.
All Primary 1 children receive the three shortlisted books in the Bookbug P1 Family Bag each year, and children of all ages can vote for their favourite!
Teachers, librarians and learning professionals
If you're a learning professional, you'll need to sign in or create a Scottish Book Trust website account and register your class to take part. Register to vote below, then have fun exploring the shortlist and talking about the books. Don't forget to come back and cast your votes before 5pm on Friday 27 January 2023!
Parents, carers and families
If you're a parent or carer, you can vote on behalf of your child or children. You don't need to register before voting, just share the shortlist with your child and vote for their favourite below before 5pm on Friday 27 January 2023!
