Authors Live: Patience Agbabi

This event was originally due to take place in November 2021 and has been rescheduled for Tuesday 22 February 2022. If you registered for the November event, you do not need to register again. You will be emailed a link to watch along live closer to the time. The recorded events will also be available to watch afterwards in our Authors Live on Demand library.

About the event

Leap into the world of Patience Agbabi's time-travel adventure stories, The Infinite and The Time Thief. Patience will be talking about the climate change themes that inspired The Infinite. She will also share her love of wordplay and poetry.

Patience Agbabi was born in London in 1965 to Nigerian parents, spent her teenage years living in North Wales and now lives in Kent with her husband and children. She has been writing poetry for over twenty years and her first novel for children, The Infinite (the first in the Leap Cycle series), was published in 2020. Like the book's main character Elle, she loves sprinting, numbers and pepper soup, but, disappointingly, her leaping is less spectacular.
