Visit organiser websiteCome along, write a wee piece, and be inspired by Fife's own James Oswald(this will open in a new window), author of the Inspector McLean, The Ballad of Sir Benfro, and the Constance Fairchild series. We'll chat with James about all things writing and hear him read from his own work. Then we'll look at ways to get story ideas onto the page and get you writing. Prompts and inspiration will be provided, or come along with your own 'Fife' short story or poetry idea.
The session will be facilitated by Marianne Berghuis, who recently completed an MLitt in Creative Writing at Stirling University. You'll be encouraged to create a short story, poem or anything with words in it. We hope to create a small chapbook titled Tales fae Fife with any writing that is submitted, but this is optional.
There will be no pressure to share your work it's more important that we inspire you to write.
