Songs from the Last Page

Dunblane Library are hosting a live music performance of 'Songs from the Last Page' – specially created by songwriter and Scottish Opera composer Gareth Williams for Chamber Music Scotland. These songs take the last page of a book and that moment when the reader reads the final lines of a story and transforms it into music.

Gareth will be joined by the acclaimed cellist Justyna Jablonska and Scottish Chamber Orchestra's first violin Aisling O'Dea. This musical celebration of Scottish writers and stories has been commissioned by Event Scotland and Bòrd na Gàidhlig as part of Scotland's Year of Stories.
