Open Book on Memoir: Poetry

Join Lead Reader Rafael Torrubia for a special Book Week Scotland creative writing workshop on Poetry. We store memories everywhere. In our language, in the land, in our bodies. Looking back offers connection, discovery and inspiration, for ourselves and for our writing.

This workshop will look at a range of different poets writing on memory and memoir, exploring ways in which we can work our memories into our own poetry. This workshop is suitable for writers of any level of experience, using gentle creative prompts to generate writing.
