Marion Todd is the bestselling author of the DI Clare Mackay series, set in and around St Andrews and North East Fife. She will be talking about her books, including her latest one, Old Bones Lie.

Of especial interest is hearing about how, and where, she does her research. Where does the Christieson's private graveyard come from? How much of Clare's surroundings are based on the real area and how much is invented? Local landmarks are recognisable to the people who live here, but are houses, cottages, shops and industrial estates moved in from other areas? This is a chance to see our familiar landscape through the eyes of an author and her team of detectives.
