heathtarka@gmail.comRumpus Room and Banshee Books based in Govanhill will host a creative writing workshop for young people to come together to be creative, joyful and learn from one another through writing open letters.
The workshop will focus on how we learn and communicate as a community and offer a creative method to share and cherish our lived experiences happening in unison. Delicious pakoras and chai will be provided. Rumpus Room is an artist-led, open access studio working in collaboration with young people, children and families on experimental and social action projects.
Banshee Books is DIY pop up library and resource of feminist, queer and questioning printed material made with and for young people. If you need anything in place to make you more comfortable at the session please let us know by emailing Tarka at heathtarka@gmail.com The workshop is drop in and free.
