Join Tawnya Selene Renelle and Maria Sledmere to explore writing to, with, and from the perspective of an object.

This free event is part reading and part workshop and is part of Book Week Scotland! It will take place in person at 6pm at TypeWronger Books.

Both Maria and Tawnya have written a response about the significance of an object they will bring along to share. You are encouraged to bring a pen and paper as well as an object of importance with you as inspiration for the exercises that each will be offering you. This evening is open to all skill levels and writers and artists of any genre or medium.

Tawnya Selene Renelle is the director of Beyond Form Creative Writing and an experimental writer with several collections of poems and essays across a variety of platforms.

Maria Sledmere is the editor-in-chief of Spam Magazine, a prolific poet with several published collections and is currently a lecturer in Creative Writing at Strathclyde University.
