Join author Andrew Greig as he reads from and talks about his historical novel Rose Nicolson, an adventure set in the early days of the Scottish Reformation, in St Andrews, Edinburgh, and the rivers of the Scottish Borders.

It is a time of great upheaval, uncertainty and political shenanigans, in a divided society with a plummeting economy. The central characters are young and historically based, and surprisingly witty, sardonic and even light-hearted as they strive to survive, get ahead, and fall in love. They are living in their Present, which happens to be the period of the past that largely formed the Scottish culture and psyche.

This event will also include a Q&A with Andrew Greig, and a chance to meet the author and have your books signed.

KLEO and Loch Leven Community Library are delighted to be a Book Week Scotland partner this year.
