Creative writing workshop: The same workshop will run twice: in-person on Saturday 19th November at1.30pm-3pm in North East Fife Community Hub, St Andrews and over Zoom on Sunday 20th November at 7pm-8.30pm. It is free to attend but donations are welcome. Places are limited and must be booked in advance by emailing Kathryn at events@fifewrites.org.uk(this will open in a new window)

The theme for the workshop is 'A place called home.'

In this creative writing session, we will use themes suggested by poetry and text to open up discussion and explore difficult emotions and experiences through writing.

Sandra Ireland is the author of four psychological thrillers, all published by Polygon. She is currently an associate tutor at the University of Dundee, delivering modules on Creative Writing and Finding Inspiration Through Folklore. She also facilitates courses for Lifelong Learning Dundee, and various workshops and writing retreats on a freelance basis. Sandra has a special interest in writing for wellbeing and works with local and national charities in this field.
