From billionaires in space to tech culture, climate change and global pandemics, it often feels like we are living in a science fiction world. Can reading and studying science fiction help us to understand our world? And maybe even to change it?

Join Dr Anna McFarlane (University of Glasgow), author of Cyberpunk Culture and Psychology: Seeing Through the Mirrorshades, in conversation with Duncan Falconer (Lochee Library) to think through these questions more. The event includes the opportunity to sign up for Lochee Library's new science fiction reading group so that you can get involved.
