Join us for the screening of a Coen Brothers classic starring John Turturro, John Goodman, Judy Davis, and Michael Lerner. Set in 1941, this black comedy and psychological thriller stars John Turturro in the title role as a young New York City playwright who is hired to write scripts for a film studio in Hollywood, and John Goodman as Charlie Meadows, the insurance salesman who lives next door at the run-down Hotel Earle. Themed around the writing process, with references to many real-life writers, this is a genre-defying satire on the culture of entertainment production.

Ages 15 or over only. In association with Bookspired.
