Join Glasgow Zine Library for a conversation and Q&A celebrating queerness and the power of LGBTQ+ community with author Meg-John Barker and illustrator Jules Scheele. We'll chat about their collaborative works, 'Queer: A Graphic History' and their graphic guides to gender and sexuality. We'll discuss what motivates them, their creative process and the connection between visual storytelling and queer representation. Both active zine-makers, we'll explore the importance of zines in telling queer stories, building queer community and supporting our mental health. Audience members will also have an opportunity to ask questions.

This event is followed by 'Perzines 101 for QTs', a zine-making workshop for LGBTQ+ and questioning people with River Ellen MacAskill, on Sunday 21st November. You can find more information on this workshop and book a place at glasgowzinelibrary.com/events.
