Retired local GP and published author Anne Pettigrew will discuss books, reading and their positive impact on health and wellbeing. Anne is now a full-time writer as well as President of Greenock Writers' Club, and her debut novel Not the Life Imagined was runner-up in the Scottish Association of Writers' Constable Silver Stag Award 2018. The follow-up, Not the Deaths Imagined was published in 2020 by Ringwood Publishing, and sees the return of heroine Dr Beth Slater. Inverclyde Libraries will also be showcasing their Reading Well collection.
