Join us for an inspiring live storytelling session for pre-school children with Mara Menzies(this will open in a new window). Mara will captivate imaginations with stories that defy gender stereotypes and encourage children to be whoever they want to be!

Check our You Can Be Campaign website for a series of stereotype-free stories/podcasts for each day of the Book Week Scotland Week. Mara is a narrative artist, drawing on her rich, dual Kenyan and Scottish cultural heritage, to create worlds that explore contemporary issues through legend, myth and fantasy.

This event is a part of Zero Tolerance’s You Can Be campaign to give children the best start in life without the limit of stereotypes.

Accessibility information: Please contact the organiser in advance.
