Take time out for some therapy through poetry.

Led by Samuel Tongue, a widely published poet and experienced workshop leader. He is Project Coordinator at the Scottish Poetry Library(this will open in a new window) and works on poetry for health and wellbeing.

In this relaxed workshop, we shall first read some poems together that engage with social issues, broadly conceived.

We shall then work through a few simple prompts to produce writing and/or poems of our own. No experience necessary!

The workshop forms part of a week of events & initiatives SASW are holding to celebrate Book Week Scotland - we'd love you to come along and join us!

The session takes place online via Zoom - a joining link will be shared with registrants prior to the session.
