Join one of the Live Life Aberdeenshire library team as they talk to Douglas Skelton about his successful career in journalism, and now his equally successful career as a crime writer.

Douglas was born in Glasgow and begun his career as a journalist investigating real-life crime for Glasgow solicitors involved in a long-running campaign to right the famous ice cream wars miscarriage of justice.

Moving onto crime writing he introduced his readers to his Davie McCall series in 2013 followed by two novels about private eye Dominic Queste. In 2019 he introduced his fans to reporter Rebecca Connelly the protagonist in this new book series.

This event will be uploaded to the Live Life Aberdeenshire website(this will open in a new window) at 2.30pm on 19 November and will remain accessible from this page for the duration of Book Week Scotland and the following week.
