At the Word Bank we believe in the power of stories to connect people to place and to inspire active citizenship.

Inspired by the Evergreen anthologies of Patrick Geddes & Colleagues (1895) the Word Bank social enterprise has produced a series of four volumes of new writing, poetry and art (2014 to 2019). These works explore how the city works for its citizens based around Geddes's themes of Folk, Work, Place... and then the Future!

Join Sean Bradley at The Crannie, a new city centre community and creative hub and home of the Word Bank, for selected readings from the Evergreen - and be inspired!

This event will be streamed via The Word Bank's Facebook(this will open in a new window) page.
