Visit organiser websiteShaun Bythell owns The Bookshop, Wigtown – Scotland’s largest second-hand bookshop. It contains 100,000 books, spread over a mile of shelving, with twisting corridors and roaring fires, and all set in a beautiful, rural town by the edge of the sea. A book-lover’s paradise? Well, almost…
Shaun’s bestselling books (Diary of a Bookseller and Confessions of a Bookseller) give an inside look at what really goes on in a bookshop – from both sides of the counter! He is also the man behind the Random Book Club – random because you don’t know what the book will be until it arrives. So why not join us online this Book Week Scotland to hear Shaun chat about his experiences, sample a taste of the Random Book Club and find out more about his new book Seven Kinds of People You Find in Bookshops.
Bookings close at 12am on 18 Nov. Details of how to join this event on Zoom will be sent to you via email prior to the event
