Love Scottish Crime Fiction? Join Culture Perth and Kinross for a live online author event with the brilliant Doug Johnstone.

We will be chatting to Doug about the first two books in the brilliantly drawn and blackly comic Skelfs trilogy, A Dark Matter and The Big Chill.

Doug Johnstone is one of Scotland’s most prolific writers. He has been a writer in residence for various institutions, including libraries, universities, prisons and funeral directors. A Dark Matter (2020), Breakers (2019) and The Jump (2015) have all been shortlisted for the esteemed McIlvanney Prize for Scottish Crime Book of the Year. He is also a freelance journalist, a songwriter and musician, and has a PhD in nuclear physics.
