Join Queer Words Project Scotland and The Queer Dot for an evening of queer readings and chat from some of Scotland’s most exciting queer artists.

Shane Strachan and AR Crow are joined by writers and artists from The Queer Dot to read from We Were Always Here, an anthology of queer Scottish writing, and The Queer Dot’s first zine, published earlier this year.

Then, the writers and artists shine a light on life for queer artists in 2019 and beyond.

The Q&A will be followed by an open mic opportunity to read your own work – and buy the book or zine, if you want!

This is a free event – donations welcome.

Doors open: 7.00pm for a 7.30 start. Main performers: 7.30 - 8.30. Q&A: 8.45 - 9.15. Set List/Open Mic: 9.30 - 10.00. Close: 10.30.

The Queer Dot is a Dundee-based LGBTQIA+ arts collective, established 2019. Here + Queer since the year dot.

Queer Words Project Scotland supports queer writers and showcases queer writing in Scotland. Their first anthology We Were Always Here was published by 404 Ink in January 2019.
