M.R. Mackenzie is an exciting new voice in the Glasgow crime fiction scene. His debut novel, In the Silence, has been shortlisted for the prestigious McIlvanney Debut Prize as well as being longlisted for the main McIlvanney Prize for the best Scottish crime book of the year. After the success of his first novel, Mackenzie released Cruel Summer this year, the second installment of the Kelvingrove Park trilogy of thrilling Glasgow-based crime mysteries.

Couper Institute Library is delighted that M.R. Mackenzie will join us to discuss his novels and writing as part of Book Week Scotland 2019.
