Dumfries & Galloway author Karen Campbell will talk about her experience of books that have inspired and informed her own writing, from which she will also read. Following on from questions, the evening will open out into a wider conversation with Karen, discussing what it is to be a writer and/or a reader.

There is a café-style layout in the auditorium. CatStrand bar and café will be open for the duration of the event.

Karen Campbell is the author of seven novels, including, most recently, The Sound of the Hours (Bloomsbury Circus, 2019). A graduate of Glasgow University’s Creative Writing Masters, she also teaches creative writing.

A Ken Words event supported by Galloway Glens Landscape Partnership.
