On Tuesday 19th of November at 5.30pm, the Sunday Times bestselling author of the Inspector McLean series comes to Errol Village Hall to celebrate Book Week Scotland and talk about his newest creation – Constance Fairchild – and her latest adventure in Nothing To Hide.

James Oswald is the author of the Inspector McLean series of Edinburgh-based detective mysteries, nine of which have now been published in the UK. He is also the author of the Constance Fairchild series, the first of which, No Time to Cry, was published in the UK in 2018. Nothing To Hide will be released in 2019. In his spare time, James runs a 350-acre livestock farm in Fife, Scotland, where he raises Highland cattle.

James will be reading from the book and discussing how he set about creating an entirely new character and series after the success of his first. There will be books for sale, which James will sign after the event (cash only), and a cup of tea and a biscuit. The mobile library will be parked outside before, during and after the event, so make sure you visit and explore what’s on offer!
