Join us for an entertaining evening of readings and Q&As at this Book Week Scotland event. In 2018, Claire Askew's debut novel, All the Hidden Truths, brought us a very different crime story with a thought-provoking look at public tragedy and the women left picking up the pieces. This novel has been longlisted for the McIlvanney Prize for the best Scottish Crime book of the year and shortlisted for the McIlvanney debut prize. Her second novel, What You Pay For, also features DI Helen Birch and is a tense and moving novel about the disruptive effects of violence and the lines people will cross to protect those they love.
