Christopher Priest's novels have built him an inimitable dual reputation as a contemporary literary novelist and a leading figure in modern sci-fi and fantasy. His novel, The Prestige, is unique in winning both a major literary prize (The James Tait Black Prize) and a major genre prize (The World Fantasy Award). The novel was adapted for the big screen and the film was nominated for two Oscars. His latest works include the novel An American Story and this year’s short story collection, Episodes.

Join us at Cardonald Library as Christopher discusses his life and work as part of our Book Week Scotland celebrations.
