The Prince’s Trust hub in Glasgow south-central will host the official Beano cartoonist, Nigel Parkinson, comic book art extraordinaire, Gary Erskine, and award-winning 2000 AD artist, Tom Foster, in a practical and fun event helping young people aged 16-30 to get into the comic book industry. They will be running interactive workshops on illustration, visual storytelling and how to storyboard for film, TV and games. They will also be sharing their personal journeys of how they got into the art and illustration industry with a question-and-answer opportunity from the audience. During the event you will also get to meet them and get any artwork signed.

There will be plenty of interesting stalls from up-and-coming artists and illustrators displaying and selling their original work.

The event is free (including lunch) and open to all young people aged 16-30. Book your tickets now!

Registration: 11.30am.
