When 17-year-old Williame Boyde, apprentice blacksmith and volunteer spearman, reluctantly leads a pilgrimage to North Berwick, he becomes caught up in a brutal, ritualist murder. Williame is our guide, friend and commentator as he endeavours to clear the name of the lady he loves and prove her innocence.

Peter has lived in East Lothian since 1990. He is married with three grown-up sons and his first grandchild is on the way. He has been a professional actor, commercial writer and radio sketch writer. He also ran his own murder mystery dinner theatre company for 15 years. He is Chairman of the North Berwick and Gullane Fundraising Committee and has been a community councillor. This is his first published fiction novel.

This event is one of our series of Local Blethers with Local Authors events.
