Come together with Banshee Books and Glasgow Zine Library for an afternoon exploring their collections of books and zines. The DIY libraries will be used as a starting point for conversation and to inspire collective creative action working with artist Saffa Khan.

Come down and make your own badge, screenprint and zine! All ages welcome. There'll be a place for babies to roll around, something to eat and a sharing of some recent work made by Rumpus Room young people.

Banshee Books is a DIY pop-up library of feminist, queer and questioning printed stuff made with and for young people based in Glasgow, currently living at Rumpus Room.

Glasgow Zine Library is a community-based zine library on Glasgow’s south side. GZL host Glasgow Zine Fest, an annual festival that celebrates self-publishing and a Do It Yourself ethos.

Rumpus Room is an open access art studio and project made with and for children and young people based in Govanhill, Glasgow.

The event is FREE and part of Book Week Scotland 2019.
