We're looking forward to connecting BAME writers in Scotland with literary organisations, publishers, agents, booksellers and more! This event aims to bring together the literary community and work towards inclusive programming.

This event especially encourages writers of colour to attend. Please be mindful of this when booking.

Ticket information: we have a free ticket option for anyone who finds the cost of a ticket a barrier – no questions asked! For transparency, all proceeds from paid tickets and donations will go towards paying our artist fees, refreshments and other event costs.

The first 45-minute (6:30-7:15 PM) session is for BAME-identifying persons only. From 7:15 PM onwards, the event is open to representatives from literary organisations as well as BAME writers.

BAME writers: the event will kick off with a 45-minute 'meet & greet' for BAME-identifying persons only. This session is for us to meet one another in person and exchange info. We hope this gives us time to link up in a low-pressure environment (6:30-7:15 PM).

Everyone: join us for a presentation where you can learn more about The Scottish BAME Writers Network, and hear some readings from our talented members! Afterwards, join BAME writers for our networking reception (7:30-9:30 PM).

Other: BAME writers, please bring your books and pamphlets! We will have a book table where you are welcome to sell your work.

Note: if you do not identify as BAME, please only sign up for this event if you are representing a literary organisation that is interested in connecting with our members.
