James Carsell-Brown is a time-traveller. In a future time, he encounters an attractive young lady who turns out to be the ghost of a woman who took her own life. He is thrown back to 1916, giving him the opportunity to investigate the circumstances leading up to her suicide along with the possibility of preventing it. Returning to the future, James makes a startling discovery, changing his life forever. He visits Edinburgh, where another shock awaits him.
David Munro was born in Edinburgh and has lived in Aberdeen and Glasgow. He is an arts professional with a love of history, as is evident in his latest novel. Awakening has a First World War theme, telling the story of romance and heartache. The parallel time frames of 1914 and 2014 set the scene for a compelling and emotional journey. This is his 3rd novel in the time-travellers series.
