Come and hear Alan Bissett talk about his books and excerpts of his plays, including a wee bit of Moira for good measure! Start off your Friday night with this popular and entertaining author while enjoying some refreshments. There will be book signings after the event.

Alan Bissett is a novelist, playwright and performer who lives in Glasgow. In 2012 he was named Glenfiddich Spirit of Scotland Writer of the Year. His novels are Boyracers, The Incredible Adam Spark, Death of a Ladies’ Man and Pack Men. His plays include The Moira Monologues, which is now in development as a sitcom with BBC Scotland, Turbo Folk, which was shortlisted for Best New Play at the Critics’ Awards for Theatre in Scotland, and Ban This Filth!
