As a youth worker of many years, charity founder and activist, and author with four titles to my credit, I can bring a wide range of experience to various different types of audience.

Books about the landscape of Scotland and its human benefits are my big passion. I have inspired a number of people to undertake great journeys into or through the Scottish countryside. I have also introduced an entirely new take on something that spans the entire length of the Scottish landform. Such has been the effect of my work and communication around it, that a new charity, The Ribbon of Wildness Group, has now been created, which celebrates the themes that I write about, and my journey within these.

I can engage enthusiastically and effectively with audiences small and large, and provide both a spoken and highly visual presentation in each case. My input to any organisation, school, professional group, or society, will bring something new and dynamic. (Photo credit: Colin Meek)
