I am a qualified community worker and have worked in primary and secondary schools across Fife and Dundee, providing poetry workshops. I have also worked with people with mental health problems, people with learning disabilities and with people with dementia, both in community settings and in care homes.

I am an experienced workshop facilitator and have been employed by the University of Dundee as a creative writing tutor for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as for their Open Learning courses.
