Lin Anderson's headshot

I am an author and screenwriter, best known for the long running series of crime thriller novels featuring forensic scientist Dr Rhona MacLeod. I have appeared at a variety of events in a number of environments, including book and science festivals (both here and abroad), libraries, colleges, schools, prisons and book clubs. I’ve also given masterclasses in short story, crime novel structure and screenwriting.

I am co-founder of Bloody Scotland, Scotland’s annual international crime writing festival and, through this, help develop and encourage new writing in that genre.
