Kirsten McKenzie's headshot

I am the author of two historical novels, Chapel at the Edge of the World, about the building of the Italian Chapel in Orkney during WWII, and The Captain's Wife, an eighteenth century naval adventure. I have also published several contemporary short stories and am currently working on a contemporary novel and a memoir.

I have experience of working with reading groups, taking part in panel events and facilitating creative writing workshops.
