Allan Martin is the author of crime novel The Peat Dead, published April 2019 by ThunderPoint Publishing. His short stories, mainly in the crime or mystery genre, are published in iScot magazine and 404Ink.

As a former teacher in secondary and higher education, Allan has no problems delivering a talk, discussion, or learning session on writing crime or thriller fiction (either short or long). He can also explore topics in the history of crime fiction and the nature and role of crime fiction.
