Hold a poetry event LIT 3-01a, ENG 4-03a, LIT 4-10a
Hold an event to celebrate poetry and the oral tradition of poetry reading. Ask pupils to read bring in a favourite poem and read it aloud to the whole class or to each other in small groups. You could pair the reading with poems they have been working on in class.
