We know time is tight, so here is just one activity you could do with your class before or after watching the broadcast.

Newspaper article LIT 3-28a, ENG 3-27a, ENG 3-19a

Ask pupils imagine that the worst has happened, and the world has been overrun with a zombie apocalypse. They have survived, but all modern technology has been wiped from the earth in order to remove the zombies. The world has reverted to old fashioned technology, and people correspond via letters and receive their news via newspapers (zombie's were using TV to communicate and brainwash humans). Ask pupils to write a newspaper article describing their miraculous escape. How did they fight off the zombies? What advice would they offer to their fellow humans and what did they learn from their experience?
