Tell Us About Your Journey
Adult submissions have now closed. Stories from schoolchildren will be accepted until 9 October.
Your story can be structured in any way. We accept stories, letters, poems, plays or even comic strips! We also encourage entries in Scots and Gaelic as well as English.
Submissions should be between no more than 1000 words and about a real journey – physical or emotional – that you’ve taken that has been important to you.
You can choose to write about any form of journey, it could be a physical, emotional or spiritual journey that you’ve taken. It could be the day you stepped out into the unknown, or decided to take a new path, your daily commute or the trip of a lifetime.
By submitting your entry you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully before submitting your work.
Please do not use this form to submit stories for the Schools strand of the project. If you are a teacher or parent submitting an entry on behalf of your pupil(s) or child, please use the Schools page here.
