Writers are at the centre of the work of Scottish Book Trust.

We strongly believe in the inspirational value of bringing authors together with their audiences in live literature events, and each year, we create opportunities for over 70,000 people across Scotland to meet authors in a huge variety of settings, for every age group.

We also provide opportunities for writers at every stage of their careers, helping to grow audiences for those who are established, or nurturing those who represent emerging talent.
