Mentoring: Additional Access Requirements
This information is available in alternative formats on request.
Mentoring for writers with additional access requirements
This year Scottish Book Trust is offering two additional places on our mentoring scheme for writers with additional access requirements due to disability or ill health.
The purpose of this scheme is to provide support for writers who have difficulty accessing writer development opportunities, and to help to make our programme accessible to a wider group of writers.
Scottish Book Trust will match the successful applicants with a writing mentor in exactly the same way as we do in the existing scheme, but we will also work with the participants to provide support for their access needs.
Eligibility
This scheme is open to writers at all stages of their career. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to a career in writing, and must be willing to work with Scottish Book Trust, providing information and advice about their experiences to enable us to make our programme more accessible.
