Book Based Curriculum for Excellence Modules by Online Teacher in Residence Lucy Young
These resources are meant as an example of the range of cross-curricular work which can be stimulated from a Book Study in P2 and P3.
They were developed by Lucy Young of Andover Primary School in Brechin.
Books can provide an excellent starting point for project-based learning and teaching, with good stories providing a range of options for discussion, response and creative approaches.
Guidance is given for each curricular area as to which of the experiences and outcomes could be fulfilled by working with a book in this way.
Please Note: You are welcome to download and modify these lesson plans and teaching materials for your own use but note that all original work remains the property of the creators and you may not repackage these resources for commercial use in any shape or form.

Just wondering if you could post these teaching resources in pdf format, as my computer doesn't open doc formats very readily. Thanks!
