Justin Levertov's story about Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
« Back to The Book That Changed My LifeHarry Potter is living with his horrible relatives in dreary middle England, believing that his parents were killed in a car crash when one night he is visited by a man-giant named Hagrid who escorts him off to wizard school where Harry discovers that there is a whole other side to the world and that his past is shrouded in mysteries. He makes friends with the class swot Hermione and Ron Weasley, the good sport and sets about his adventures.
My Story
This is the best book I have ever read! It made me want to be a writer one day but I could never write a book as good as the Harry Potter books. Another good thing is that it made me realise I really like books and they are better than films or watching tv all the time. You can take a book anywhere and I took all the Harry Potter books everywhere I went so even if I was on holiday or in ASDA with my mum or anywhere I could read about magical things and places and imagine I could do magic. My big brother didn't want to read these wonderful books but one day he started reading them and now he is addicted to them. It was a while since I read them and maybe I will go and read them again after remembering how fantastic they were.
