Daniel Beagrie's story about Evil Star

Hi my name is Daniel Beagrie and the book that changed my life was 'Evil Star' by Anthony Horowitz. When I was looking for a book in the library I saw this sort of glittering on the shelf. A weird symbol on the side of the book. It was like five small circles inside one big circle with a number five in it and I thought to myself, well if it has caught my eye so far I might as well have a little read of it. As I started to read it I just took it out and started reading it again and I thought it was really good so I started to think that Anthony Horowitz was really amazing writer.

I took the book out of the library beacause I wanted to know what happened next so badly. When I had to return the book I wanted to ready all of the Power of Five books so I went to the library again to see if I could find the first book but I found the third book called 'NightRise'. If I could recommend the book to anyone I would recommend it to nine year olds and anybody over because it is such an amazing book.

In 'Evil Star', Matt Freeman is a boy who stopped a giant army of monsters coming through Ravens gate which is the first book'The Gatekeepers' try to open the gate which are thousands of years old. So Matt has to stop them from putting the world into eternal darkness. He seems to have vision that help him to stop the Gatekeepers from opening the gates. In Evil Star, Matt thinks that a new gate will open and he's right. A new gate s going to open but he doesn't know where on earth it is.
