My Story
I fell in love with this book after being given it by a friend who absolutely hated it. As someone who writes and writes in the vain hope of one day becoming that most elusive thing 'a writer', this book opened my eyes to what a truly great author can do. The structure, the genre-busting madness of it all, the clarity of the writing, the pity and the humour make this a book I have - and will continue to - read over and over again.
