Young Jim Hawkins is in search of himself.
He lives at his family's inn near Bristol in eighteen's century England. The sudden death of an old sea captain, Billy Bones and, his finding of a chest & treasure map local acquaintances, Dr Livesey & Mr Trelawney, later recognise as that of infamous Captain Flint added to the ransack of the inn by Bones' pursuers leads Jim to meet his destiny under the watchful eyes of notably Captain Smollet and Long John Silver as well the the outer world where men roam the seas in search of gold...
